my new brain veg!

First off, I'd like to explain what "brain veg" means. You see, I am a busy mom with three little girls all under the age of 5, a new home in a new city, my husband is military which is a job in itself for me and we have several things we do on the side. My mental outlet has ALWAYS been decorating. My paternal grandmother was an original "martha" who was always doing a diy project or creating something beautiful for her home. When I was five, she can remember me sitting looking through Better Homes and Gardens magazine instead of watching cartoons! In college, we had the best looking dorm room, the one the RA's used to show off. And now as an adult, my opportunities to home decorate don't come as often as I'd like. The budget doesn't allow for too much spending because we're being smart and INVESTING for the future so my hubby can get out of the military! But, under this curcumstance I get some really creative ideas based out of what all I can do for $20.oo ya know! I have done some decorating of my new home, but really would like to do more personalized stuff to it but have not found the time. However, I have been Brain Vegging and following several decorating enthusiast blogs. So, it was time I just started mine. Maybe i'll be more accountable to doing my own projects I keep putting off. Like one gal said, your blog is your virtual refridgerator where you can post your "projects" for everyone to see just as my five year old posts her coloring sheets on my literal fridge!
