the "fifties"

Well I tell you what, I just saw images of my childhood pass before my eyes!  I grew up in the late 70's and 80's but you'd be surprised how much the houses had not changed.  The decor of the mid-century (which is a fancy word for what we call "the fifties") homes was so unique.  I hated that wood laminate paneling, checkerboard floors, pink tile bathrooms, tiny little kitchen tables and avocado ovens.  However, since the passing of my grandmother this year, there's something about those images that brings me comfort.  I'd do anything to go back to those days in those rooms.  Some of you may appreciate some of these images so i thought I'd share.

Well, got to go do my own housework...and that's just fine with me.
